The combination of SSDX-12 (a highly effective cleaner) with microfiber or non-woven wipes provides an effective broad-spectrum decontaminant, suitable for use in the decontamination of particle (radioactive or toxic substances), chemical agents, TICs and TIMS, NTA’s, opioids, etc..

SSDX-12 is a blend of non-ionic surfactants specifically formulated for the removal of chemical agents from surfaces. SSDX-12 consists of surfactants commonly used in personal care products and has been tested for compatibility with human skin and it does not cause irritation or sensitization.

Efficacy testing with SSDX-12 has demonstrated it to be more effective at removing VX and HD from the skin than RSDL and Dawn Ultra (references/ copies of reports can be provided on request). SSDX-12 has been shown to be effective for the removal of powdered opioids from surfaces (note: most opioid testing uses deposited solutions of the drugs which behave very differently) Opioids tested included fentanyl citrate, carfentanyl HCl, and reminfentanyl HCl.

Unlike other skin decontamination technologies, the SSDX-12 Kit provides a safer decontamination kit as the chemistry is skin-friendly, testing demonstrated there was no indication of a potential to elicit dermal irritation or sensitization (contact allergy) for SSDX-12 on the skin (testing performed by Bio Screen Testing Services).
